Q. What is your approach on the wedding day?
I try to be as unobtrusive as possible in documenting the natural flow of events. I strive to create timeless and classic archives of your special day. I like to plan a short portrait session with the bride and groom between the ceremony and the reception.
Q. What is your photography style?
It is natural and journalistic but also sensitive to setting, composition and to the magic, whimsy and emotional expressions of the day.
Q. What kind of camera do you use?
I use both a film medium format Contax 645 camera and professional quality Canon digital cameras.
Q. Do you shoot alone?
I always have an assistant/second shooter with me.
Q. Do you retouch photos?
Each image is edited individually and some retouching is done. Additional retouching is available.
Q. How long will I wait to see my pictures?
The online gallery will be ready for viewing within three weeks of your wedding.
Q. How do you save my images?
We have multiple backup systems for storing your photos safely. We suggest that when you receive your DVD that you also back it up. USB’s and CD’s have a shelf life of 10 years. The very best way to archive your images is to have them printed.
Q. What about copyrights and print releases?
I will retain the copyrights but release the printing rights with your high resolution DVD of all your images which allows printing for your personal use and for your social media.
Q. What kinds of albums do you offer?
The albums are flush mounted and lie flat when open. Various sizes and cover materials are available. I can design a layout for your online approval with your selection of images.
Q. Will you post our wedding pictures on your social media?
Only with your permission.
Q. What are your prices?
Please contact me with specific details about your wedding for pricing information.
